About Me

Hi! My name is Andrew Chase, and I have a very young passion for everything videography. By that I mean I have been in the field for just over a year; however, I have always had a love for film, television and sports. These aspects of my life I always considered hobbies, but through my college experience I realized I can make them my career.

Currently, I am a cameraman for VFL Films and SEC Network at the University of Tennessee and love the pressure and intensity that comes with my job. I have also dabbled in other areas of the field such as editing, audio and replay. One day I would love to move away from sports production and into my lifelong dream of entering the television and/or film industry.

Sports broadcasting may sound complicated and as though it uses a made up language with thousands of technical terms, and in fact it does. My hope is that I can educate and entertain those who want to learn more about sports production so that they may realize, just as I did, that it can be more than just a hobby.
